Dwight V. Galloway, M.D. is certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and is an active member of the Phi Rho Sigma Medical Fraternity.

Dr. Galloway graduated medical school from the University of Michigan. His internship was a King County Hospital in Seattle, Washington. His residency in General Surgery was at the VA Hospital in Los Angeles, California. He also had a residency in Plastic Surgery at the UCLA Medical Center with a European Fellowship in Reconstructive and Hand Surgery. He was a Commander in the U.S Naval Hospital in Oakland, California and a Training Officer for surgeons in Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery.

Dr. Galloway is included in the “Guide to America’s Top Plastic Surgeons” 2007- 2009 editions by the Consumer’s Research Council of America in Washington D.C. that evaluates professional services throughout America. The selection process is based on a point system that awards points for education, years of practice and affiliations with professional associations. No fees, sponsorships, donations or advertising are accepted from physicians, professional practices, medical treatment facilities or hospitals to ensure an unbiased selection.

Dr. Galloway has successfully performed over 22,000 cosmetic surgical procedures of the face and body.

Once a semi-professional baseball player, Dr. Galloway was also ranked #34 nationally by the United States Tennis Association and ranked #1 National Senior Tennis State Champion. He is nationally recognized in the Senior Division of Inline Skating Road Racing, having won championships across the United States.

After an illustrious career spanning over 30 years, Dr. Galloway has returned to the Metro Detroit area to be closer to his family and friends.
