Michael B. Gellis, M.D., Associate Medical Director

- Michael B. Gellis, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a diplomat of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is an active member of the Michigan Academy of Plastic Surgery and has articles published in both the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Annals of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Gellis is a member of the Phi Lambda Kappa Medical Fraternity and the Michigan State and Oakland County Medical Societies.
- Dr. Gellis received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University and completed his surgical internship and residency in General Surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Gellis completed his Plastic Surgery Residency at William Beaumont Hospital, as well.
- Dr. Gellis served as the Chairman of the Plastic Surgery Division at the William Beaumont Hospital from 1996-2007 and is an Associate Professor of Surgery for Wayne State University's Medical School. He has successfully performed over 18,000 cosmetic procedures over the course of his thirty-two year career.
- Dr. Gellis takes great pride in providing his patients with state-of-the art , proven surgical techniques and exemplary results. He has received numerous honors and awards including being voted as one of "Detroit's Top Doctors".
- In addition to his Michigan based practice, Dr. Gellis has maintained a cosmetic surgery practice in the exclusive resort area of Jackson Hole, Wyoming for the past 27 years serving both international and U.S. based patients.
- During his free time, Dr. Gellis enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. He also plays singles and doubles tournament squash, is a downhill skier, photographer and guitar player.
